Experience Decorating Your Own Unique Mug

In May 2024, we held an internal sale of original mugs which featured a logo design printed using our products. For those who purchased these mugs, we organized a special follow-up workshop where they could print and decorate their mugs using our products. Participants designed and printed their own unique designs, resulting in truly personalized mugs.

From software setup to printing

Participants first received a tutorial on the features and operation of our VersaSTUDIO BD-8 desktop flatbed UV printer, which was used for the decoration. They then uploaded their pre-prepared original designs, including illustrations and photos, into the included software and began printing their personalized creations.
Using a dedicated jig, they set the mugs into the BD-8, adjusted the height, and began printing.

This decoration experience event also aimed to deepen interactions among employees. Participants first introduced themselves, explaining their reasons for joining the event and their usual job roles, fostering mutual understanding.

Participants received guidance from the internal project team conducting the workshop, and they also collaborated with each other to complete their tasks. Some printed photos of their pets or family members, while others drew original illustrations, and everyone was inspired by each other’s designs, sparking creative ideas. The atmosphere was both relaxed and buzzing with originality.

Applying insights from product experience

At the end of the workshop, there was a session for participants to share their thoughts. Comments included, “I was impressed by how clearly even the smallest text printed. It made me appreciate our products even more,” and, “Experiencing what our customers go through when creating custom goods is invaluable.” By using our products firsthand and incorporating the user’s perspective, new ideas naturally emerge.

The internal project team responsible for this event aims to enhance the sense of unity within the company by providing hands-on experiences with our products. As each employee gains a deeper understanding and attachment to our products, their pride in the company grows.

By witnessing the moment when their designs come to life, we hope employees experience the joy of creation and excitement, which will contribute to their personal growth.
