DGSHAPE Establishes Sales Subsidiary in India

Roland DG Corporation (President, Representative Director: Kohei Tanabe, Headquarters: Hamamatsu, Japan), a global manufacturer and distributor of advertising and signage inkjet printers and 3D digital fabrication tools, is pleased to announce that DGSHAPE Corporation (“DGSHAPE”), its subsidiary involved in the sales and marketing of dental milling machines, has established DGSHAPE DENTAL INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED (“SDI”) as a sales and marketing subsidiary in India. Operations will begin in March.

Opening ceremony

Prior to the start of operations, an opening ceremony was held at the local office on February 11. DGSHAPE President, Junichi Toyama, and others attended the ceremony where a traditional Indian prayer ritual was performed for the company’s future success. SDI was established with a 1% equity investment by Roland DG and a 99% equity investment by DGSHAPE. The establishment of SDI is an effort to strengthen local sales and marketing activities, fulfill customer needs, and increase market share.
