Roland DG exhibited its production site improvement solution for small and medium-sized manufacturers, called Roland DG Assemble, at the Nagano Suwa Area Industrial Messe 2024 held in Okaya City from October 17–19, and at the Industrial Fair in Shinshu 2024 in Nagano City on October 25–26. Following our participation at the Business Matching Fair in Hamamatsu 2024 in July, we introduced Roland DG Assemble to the active precision machinery industry in Nagano Prefecture.

Addressing Challenges in Assembly Manufacturing
Nagano Prefecture, a region renowned for its precision machinery industry, has a high concentration of small and medium-sized enterprises excelling in manufacturing and assembly. A pressing challenge for them is preventing human errors such as missed or improper tightening of screws. Roland DG Assemble offers an effective solution to address these issues by reducing workload through going paperless and IoT integration.
Utilizing our proprietary production system expertise, Roland DG Assemble enhances quality through own-process assurance, enabling standardization and quality guarantees without the need for inspections. By streamlining administrative tasks, the system allows a shift toward improvement activities, driving further operational enhancements.
At these exhibitions in Nagano, we addressed questions about how quickly results could be expected in actual use. We demonstrated attaching transmitters to customers’ tools for IoT integration, helping attendees better understand the system.
Many inquiries also focused on cost. We shared that Roland DG Assemble requires no initial cost and is available starting at 50,000 yen per month. The affordable pricing drew significant interest, encouraging further consideration of adoption.
Shaping the Future of Manufacturing with Roland DG Assemble
Many attendees visited our booth to learn more about Roland DG Assemble. At Industrial Fair in Shinshu 2024, we placed the exhibit table at the center of the booth, arranging tools for easy access. This layout captured the attention of many visitors.
A booth representative shared, “By discussing challenges faced in manufacturing sites, we identified opportunities for utilizing Roland DG Assemble. We aim to support the industry by helping solve these challenges and revitalizing the sector.”
Nagano Suwa Area Industrial Messe 2024 welcomed 14,000 visitors, while Industrial Fair in Shinshu 2024 drew 13,000 attendees (organizer estimates). We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth.
The exhibitions provided valuable feedback to further enhance the solution's value. If you have challenges at your production site, feel free to contact us through the Roland DG Assemble website (Japanese text only / The service is exclusively offered within Japan), where our dedicated team can provide tailored proposals.
