Roland DG Introduces Extension Table for LG Series and UG UV Printer/Cutters

Hamamatsu, Japan, January 15, 2025 – Roland DG Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters worldwide, is pleased to announce that its TrueVIS LG-640/540/300 and DGXPRESS^*1 UG-642 UV printer/cutters now support an optional Extension Table that enables printing on B0-size paperboard for packaging prototypes.

The LG-640/540/300 and UG-642 are high productivity UV printer/cutters ideal for customers who need to produce large-sized output in a short period of time. They support CMYK, Red, Orange, clear, white, and primer inks^*2. One of their greatest features is the ability to print on a variety of materials, as well as offering unique, high-value-added special printing such as simulated embossing and textures by applying multiple layers of clear ink. They are widely used in the production of large advertisements, signboard production, interior decoration, and the production of stickers, labels, and decals.

The ET Series is a dedicated table unit that can be attached to the LG-640/540/300 and UG-642 to conveniently handle up to B0-size paperboard for prototyping and mock-up production of various sizes of folding carton packages, from small items such as food, medicine, and cosmetics to larger sizes, such as liquor bottles, home appliances, and toys.
