Hands-on demonstrations show productivity enhancements
Roland DG Assemble leverages our proprietary production system’s capabilities to enable paperless work records and visualization of production status, accelerating improvement cycles and increasing productivity.
At our booth, we recreated a Roland DG Assemble user case study, demonstrating IoT integration with tools and systems, work procedure displays, automatic recording, and production status visualization. Visitors experienced the system by following work instructions displayed on a tablet and operating tools, with all activities being automatically recorded. Additionally, they learned how production management could be handled on a PC, ultimately speeding up improvement cycles and enhancing productivity.
Ease of adoption appreciated by visitors
Roland DG Assemble is available with only a monthly fee. As a cloud-based service, it utilizes users’ existing devices and networks, keeping initial costs low. At the booth, we highlighted the affordability of adoption by specifying a cost starting from 50,000 yen per month. Additionally, Roland DG Assemble has been selected for the IT introduction subsidy 2024 in Japan, allowing users to receive up to 1.5 million yen in subsidies. Many visitors had questions about the subsidy, showing interest in how this production site improvement solution can be adopted at a relatively low cost.
Expanding awareness of Roland DG’s unique approach
The exhibition allowed us to introduce many people to Roland DG Assemble. Visitors expressed concerns about their current reliance on paper records and appreciated the system’s ability to automate work records.
The booth prominently featured our corporate color, blue. The decorations, including the back panels, were produced and installed by our in-house project team working on product utilization collaborating with our staff. This exhibition was also an opportunity to communicate Roland DG’s purpose, “To Empower Creativity and Excitement Worldwide.”
Our representative expressed hope for further expansion, stating, “Roland DG Assemble is a solution that can also help address labor shortages. We hope it will be used to assign people to more value-added tasks. Our dedicated team is ready to meet diverse needs.”
According to the organizer, the Business Matching Fair attracted 8,200 visitors over two days. We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth.
